Our 'getting going' poster

Next week we are due to attend the programme start-up meeting. I'm really looking forward to hearing what other institutions have planned, listening to their focus and looking for projects that have similar lines of inquiry as ours.

Indeed, the agenda for the start up meeting looks like it is geared directly towards projects showcasing their work as well as providing some networking opportunities. Each project has been invited to offer a two minute elevator pitch. Additionally, projects are required to produce a poster that set out their plans.

I have just now sent our poster to the JISC - a copy of which is attached.

We're trying to balance giving something to read as well as showing the main message.

Hello world

We're off and running. We are absolutely delighted to have secured funding from the JISC to support our Integrating Technologies for Effective Assessment Methods (ITEAM) project.

The project is hot on the heels of our
* ESCAPE project (An archive of the blog can be found here, the ESCAPE project page on the JISC Design Studio can be found here) and;

* Our 2010/11 University-wide assessment activity.

We have many good things in place but now have a need to gain wider uptake in our work, embed what we have done, and draw together the data arising from assessment tasks. More on that later

We will use this blog to offer some (reasonably) regular updates.
